We are delighted to release our new Golden Rum blend. Distilled by both column and pot-still, it combines the freshness of a light rum with the richer tones of traditional pot-distilling.

'This rum marks a significant change at the distillery - where the blender's art is as important as the distillation process itself. Our first Padstow-distilled blend leads the way in a range that will extend to barrel-aged, white and over-proof rums.

It appears sweet with notes of Demerara and Muscovado sugars, but it is completely dry - and this is simply how the components marry. I love it neat without ice, almost as a Cognac, but other tasters on our blending panel love it with Coke and a large strip of orange zest.'

We'd love to hear how you enjoy it best, so please do let us know either by tagging us on your socials #Padstowrum or writing a review.

I’m not normally a rum drinker, but I tried this while on holiday in the summer and I loved it!

Hmmm, could do better regarding taste. I like my rum neat but this one definitely needs a mixer, in my opinion.

Our Top 5 Negroni Recipes — Stirring Things Up for Negroni Week

Negroni Week is an annual celebration of one of the world’s most versatile cocktails, and at our Duke Street bar in Padstow, we’ve been shaking (or rather stirring) up plenty of inspiration. So I thought I'd share five of our favourite ways to mix a Negroni at home.

THE ULTIMATE RHUBARB MARTINI

After a season away, the Rhubarb Martini is back on the menu at 17 Duke Street. Just in time for Valentine's Day, this beautiful, long-drinking cocktail is all about flavour and balance.

The Spiced Orange Negroni

When made with our Spiced Cranberry & Orange Gin, this favourite amongst our Duke Street regulars takes on a roundness and depth that lands it firmly in the Autumn/Winter Cocktails category. I always think of this as a 'Halloween onwards' drink, and it definitely has a hint of the festive season about it...
