Batch #001 Distilled in Padstow. May, 2026

This began as an experiment to create a vodka with a distinctive fruit character.

Drawing on some excellent Polish still design and the same philosophy behind our Heart of Hearts spirit, I made an additional cut during distillation, retaining only the softest part of the spirit.

Once I was happy with the vodka itself, I redistilled it with fresh raspberries and nothing else.

No sugar, no colouring, no additional flavouring.

The raspberries bring a subtle character that complements the spirit, allowing the quality of the vodka to remain centre stage.

I'll be completely frank: I had no idea it would turn out this good. Believe me, for every dazzling winner, there are an equal number of "who on earth would drink that?" moments.

Thankfully, this wasn't one of them.

Serving Suggestions:

Always serve ice cold from the freezer.

  • For a long drink, pour over ice and top with soda water or tonic.
  • Or try it in a Raspberry Vesper:
    25ml St George's Well Gin
    25ml Raspberry Vodka
Shake hard over ice and double strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with raspberry pearls or a fresh raspberry leaf.

Exquisite.

The Padstow Distilling Summer Refreshment Guide

Summer changes the way we drink — and not everyone has the same taste in refreshment. For some, it’s a classic G&T with plenty of tonic and a slice of lime. For others, it’s something sharper and more citrus-led, or perhaps a clean vodka serve poured long over soda and ice. This is our guide to finding your perfect summer pour.
