Padstow Distilling Bottle Opener

Padstow Distilling Bottle Opener

This is our multi-award-winning Padstow Gin® 'St George's Well' 42% Original Recipe Gin,  taking our 'nature distilled' ethos and adding an extra level of sustainability.

Instead of a brand-new bottle, you will receive one of our reclaimed bottles from the bar at Duke Street, Padstow. Each is carefully cleaned, sterilised, quality checked, and refilled, meaning less glass produced, less waste, and more reuse.

To create a unique, light, London-style gin recipe with a unique Cornish infusion, we weave juniper, citrus, bay and the stems of alexander, a plant foraged locally, from the cliffs beside the barley fields. We then bottle at 42% abv for that flavour/alcohol sweet spot—the best Cornish gin - dry, exceptionally smooth, and with planet-friendly ambitions.

Currently shipping: Batch #062 - distilled in Padstow, December 2024, bottled in January 2025!

Local Ingredients

All Padstow Gin is made using the finest local Cornish barley, grown at Tregirls farm in Padstow. The barley fields overlook the Camel Estuary above the beach at St George’s Well, swept daily by the ocean breeze. We mash, ferment and distil this spirit several times for the smoothest texture and delicate coastal flavour.

What Our Customers Think

We put our heart and soul into crafting a luxury spirit that invokes memories of the beautiful Cornish coast and countryside surrounding Padstow, so customer feedback is something we are always keen to receive.

Mixology

Our Top 5 Negroni Recipes — Stirring Things Up for Negroni Week

Negroni Week is an annual celebration of one of the world’s most versatile cocktails, and at our Duke Street bar in Padstow, we’ve been shaking (or rather stirring) up plenty of inspiration. So I thought I'd share five of our favourite ways to mix a Negroni at home.

THE ULTIMATE RHUBARB MARTINI

After a season away, the Rhubarb Martini is back on the menu at 17 Duke Street. Just in time for Valentine's Day, this beautiful, long-drinking cocktail is all about flavour and balance.

The Spiced Orange Negroni

When made with our Spiced Cranberry & Orange Gin, this favourite amongst our Duke Street regulars takes on a roundness and depth that lands it firmly in the Autumn/Winter Cocktails category. I always think of this as a 'Halloween onwards' drink, and it definitely has a hint of the festive season about it...
