A pretty and light alternative to Pimms - with plenty of fruit and softness, yet rather less sweet. This drink made with gin and vermouth is complimented by our favourite Navas Cornish Tonic mixer, but FeverTree Light can also be used.
INGREDIENTS
25ml Padstow Gin | SHOP HERE >
25ml Knightor Rosé Vermouth | SHOP HERE >
5ml Strawberry Liqueur/Crème de Fraises
200ml Navas Cornish Tonic
1 Fresh strawberry
1 Sprig of mint
METHOD
Fill a Padstow Gin glass with 6 cubes of ice.
Add the sliced strawberry (hearts are pretty), then add the gin, the vermouth and the strawberry liqueur.
Top up with 200ml tonic and serve with a straw.
This is equally beautiful in a vintage cut-glass hi-ball.
For a sweeter version, add more strawberry liqueur.
